A wedding in the old stable
Candlelight, long tables, and 84 guests under the original yellowwood beams.
The stable was built in 1908 and the beams have survived two roofs and a fire. Stripping them back was the easy part — finding electricians willing to thread cable through 120-year-old yellowwood was harder.
The result is a room that holds 90 for a seated dinner without ever feeling like a function hall. The acoustics carry a string quartet beautifully. The light, after sundown, is entirely candle.
We host a maximum of 18 weddings a year. Dates for the next two seasons are open.
